A credit card is required by all parties for identity verification regardless of payment agreements. The initiating party will be the first to indicate how payment will be made; ideally the participating parties have agreed to the payment arrangement prior to mediation. Initiating parties often agree to pay for the process as a way of encouraging other parties to participate.
Timed Out Refund: If an initiating party agrees to pay but the opposing party does not accept the invitation to participate in the case, the case will time out and a refund issued. Once the invitation has been accepted, there is no refund option.
